While Philippe and I wanted to have a relaxing day to take care of ourselves and give us a rest after the busy past weeks I have to admit our mission failed. We went to Blausee for a nice lunch in the Mountains and arrived at around 10. Already the short part from the car to the hotel is quite exhausting when 9 months pregnant but very well manageable. So we arrived at the beautyful blue lake and watched the trouts in the lake. As it was way to early to have lunch we decided to walk around the lake. Due to the pregnancy we were walking slowly anyway but at around 3/4 of the way I made a false step and fell down. Luckily Philippe catched me fast so I only hurt my knee. But for my circulation immediate pain is always a problem so I had to sit down and rest. Then i saw that my knee was bleeding quite a bit and Philippe had a quick look at it. He immediately stated that we need to go to the hospital to show the cut. I wondered as usually he’s the last person suggesting going to the hospital. I had a little pain but not too much, I worried more about my circulation which really makes me problems in such sitations. Philippe run to the hotel to get a first aid kit as we did not have anything with us. He supplied the wound as best as possible and asked me if I was able to walk further. I tried and we managed to finish the trail. But at the bench over there I had to take another rest, to much for my circulation and the pain in the knee was also not really helping any further. Philippe asked if I will manage it to the car, I assumed I would after another rest. But the way up and down to the car was too much for me. So he decided to call the ambulance. After 20 minutes they finally arrived, checked my pressure which was finally back at normal stage – after 20 minutes laying I anyway felt that it’s getting better. So they checked also my blood pressure and glucose status, everything within normal state. When seeing my knee they decided I have to go with them to the hospital… I just thought fine with me, and plesae check also what’s up with the baby because I did not feel it for quite some time and i started to worry about it. After all it was really strange to ride in an amubalance car fully awake with only a little pain ( I really wondered what my knee looked as i could not see anything due to the belly). Finally at the hospital they decided that I could move my knee enough that it was not necessery to x-ray it. I was thankful for that that I believe this would not be too good for the baby even they assured me that the dosis would not do anything to it in this late state of pregnancy. The doctor then told me that the bursae in my knee has a crack and they have to medicate it. So they did it and after all this was quite painful. I just thought great now you can practice for the birth – how to handle pain. When they finished I got a splint and some Antibiotics. After all this Philippe and i were just exhausted but also happy that it did no harm to the baby – it started kicking again after I was medicated. Luckily this all happened after I had my last shooting and “only” have to do picture editing. But certainly this will slow me down even more as I have now to relax some more and keep the leg still that it will be ok soon again.

This wedding was held at a wonderful warm sunny day. This was very lucky as this was our first wedding ceremony held outside. It was very special not being in a church for once. I have to say that it is really something people should do more often celebrating their love under the sky. But with the swiss weather you probably need some dry alternative as there is no sun guarantee after all. Also the location itself was very cool and I loved all the beautyful details they had taken care of.
is the song I just begin singing in my head when watching her pictures…

I remember when Philippe and I have been to Maine two years ago we wanted to go whale watching. We had no luck, the weather outside was miserable even tough at the beach the sun was shining and we could not really believe that the weather just a few miles outside may be so different. But actually it was – we did a boat trip to the lighthouses and just a few minutes away from the beach it started already to be nasty. Now Philippe can do the whale watching at home – at least I start to feel like a whale. Huge, not really able anymore to move and only happy when in water (pain release for the back, if you can follow me). Just as in Maine we can now not imagine what big change will happen to our lifes in only a few weeks/days… We look so much forward to meet the little whale I am carrying now insde.

Na she is not a supermodel but she defenitely looks like one… I had the pleasure to do a shooting with her twin sister a few months ago and have to say they are both stunning girls inside and out. And in front of the camera just pure naturals. Enjoy.
